The National Monuments Service's description
Located on the W-facing slope of a broad hill with a col between this hill and Lacken Hill c. 450m to the WSW. This is a subcircular grass and fern-covered area (dims. 49m N-S; 40m E-W) defined by a low earthen bank (Wth 2.5-4.5m; int. H 0.4-1m; ext. H 0.6-1.3m). There is no visible fosse or entrance and the perimeter at W is straightened and incorporated into a N-S field bank (Wth 4m; int. H 1.1m; ext. H 1.3m) planted with coniferous trees.
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wexford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1996). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
