The National Monuments Service's description
Located on a slight S-facing slope. Circular and dished, grass-covered area (diam. 34.5m N-S; 32.5m E-W) defined by two low earthen banks (Wth 2.5-6m; H 0.3-0.7m) separated by a fosse (Wth of top 5-5.5m) but with a berm (Wth 7.5m) intervening between the banks at S (max. ext. dims. 53m N-S; 46m E-W). Both banks are absent NW-NE, and there is no visible entrance.
