The National Monuments Service's description
Located at the bottom of a SE-facing slope and c. 150m N of Rossdroit church (WX025-011----). Excavation (04E0396) at Site 1 as part of the N30 re-alignment recorded sections of field ditches in the area N of the church that could belong to various field systems, but some of them could relate to the church and its ecclesiastical enclosure (Ó Maoldúin 2007, 4-5). The geophysical survey (06R0206) conducted by Earthsound in the area NE-SE of the church also recorded numerous ditches from field systems. (Bonsall and Gimson 2007)
