Marked as a circular enclosure (diam. c. 60-65m) on the 1839 ed. of the OS 6-inch map, and situated towards the top of the SE-facing slope of a hill. Traces of a circular enclosure (diam. c. 40m) were visible in the 1940s (SMR file). It is now visible as a slightly dished grass-covered area (diam. c. 40m). Rath (WX025-002----) is c. 200m to the NE and rath (WX024-049----) is c. 50m to the NE.

The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wexford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1996). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
