The National Monuments Service's description
Marked as a circular enclosure with trees (diam. c. 55m) in demesne land on the 1839 and 1925 eds of the OS 6-inch map. It is situated on a gentle S-facing slope with a SW-NE stream c. 150m to the SE. Nothing is visible at ground level in a harvested cereal crop. It is visible as the cropmark of an enclosure defined by two fosse features on aerial photographs (MM (1) 23-6).
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wexford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1996). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
