The National Monuments Service's description

Situated on the NW-facing slope of a low hill, the summit of which is c. 300m to the E. There is a low col c. 300m to the N between the hill and White Mountain which rises over it to the NW. This is a subcircular grass and scrub-covered area (dims. 46m N-S; 41.5m E-W) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 5-6m; int. H 0.8 1m; ext. H 1.2m at N to 2.4m at W) with an external fosse (Wth of top 6.5-7.5m; D 1.8m) and outer bank (Wth 4.5-6m; ext. H 0.5-0.8m). There are entrances through the inner (Wth 3.5m) and outer (Wth 5m) banks at W (max. ext. dims. 64.5m N S; 59m E-W).
