The National Monuments Service's description

Located a the SW edge of a NW-SE ridge with a NW-SE stream c. 230m to the SW. This is a circular grass and scrub-covered area (diam. 31m N-S; 30m E-W) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 3-4m; int. H 0.8-1m; ext. H 1.2-1.6m) with some bushes. There is no visible fosse, but the entrance (Wth 1.7m) is at SE. Archaeological testing (22E0251) by Y. Whitty and a geophysical survey (22R0034) immediately to the SW produced no related material (excavations.ie 2022:089).

The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wexford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1996). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
