Cross

The National Monuments Service's description

Located on a broad, low hill. A latin cross (H 1.24m; Wth of arms 0.4m), now in the County Wexford Museum, Enniscorthy (WX020-031011-), was situated on the W side of a N-S field bank and townland boundary with Killannaduff until it was moved to the musem sometime after 1948. It has an incised circle with a cross in relief at the crux and a Latin cross in relief above it on one face. The other face has an inscribed circle with a marigold at the crux and there are parallel incised lines running down the stem. The cross (WX022-009----) was c. 200m to the ESE. (Ranson 1945, 53; 1948, 101)
