The National Monuments Service's description
Located on a fairly level landscape on the demesne of Killabeg House. An upright stone (dims of base 1.54m NE-SW; 0.55m NW-SE) that is probably a local shale narrows from 0.55m above the ground to a point at the top (H 1.77m). The stone may have been damaged on the NE side, perhaps in an ancient attempt to remove it. It was first reported by Ivor Kenny.
