The National Monuments Service's description
Situated on the narrow floodplain of the River Slaney with an old curve of the river c. 12m to the E and what might be a smaller channel (Wth c. 10-15m) just to the W. The cropmark of a small enclosure (diam. c. 3-4m) defined by a continuous fosse is visible only on Google Earth (14/07/2018). Ring-ditch (WX020-128001-) is c. 75m to the N. It was first reported by Simon Dowling.
