The National Monuments Service's description
Located on a gentle E-facing slope. The cropmark of a large enclosure (diam. c. 78m N-S; c. 74m E-W) defined by a single fosse or ditch is visible only on Google Earth (14/07/2018). The perimeter is incorporated in a notch in a N-S field bank at E, and there is a wide gap (Wth c. 20m) at NE. It was first reported by Simon Dowling. Archaeological monitoring (22E0440) by Y. Whitty of a water-mains c. 35m to the W produced no related material (excavations.ie 2022:169).
