The National Monuments Service's description
Identified in centre-line testing (E4110) in advance of the M11 Gorey to Enniscorthy road scheme and set aside for resolution as Tinnacross 1 (Hardy et al. 2010, 69). It is situated on a level landscape with a small stream running SE-NW c. 110m to the NE and running E-W c. 125m to the N. It was completely excavated (E4228) by M. McNamara as a single spread of charcoal-rich clay (dims 1.65m x 1.6m; T 0.06m) that may be prehistoric but which produced a copper-alloy spoon on its upper surface. The prehistoric flat cemetery (WX020-077----) is c. 90m to the W and the burnt mounds (WX020-080001-; WX020-080002-) are c. 200m to the ENE in Myaugh townland. (Hardy 2012; McNamara 2013)
