The National Monuments Service's description
Located on a W-facing slope of a low E-W ridge overlooking the N-S River Slaney, which is c. 250m to the W. This is a schist stone aligned NE–SW with a rectangular cross-section (dims 1m x 0.75m; H 1.8m). It has a cupmark on the NE side.
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wexford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1996). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
