The National Monuments Service's description

Situated on a low N-S ridge with a small N-S canalised stream c. 50m to the E. A rectangular feature (dims c. 35m NE-SW; c. 30m NW-SE) described as the 'site of graveyard' is depicted faintly on the 1839 edition of the OS 6-inch map. No features are visible at ground level but the outline of a rectangular enclosure (ext. dims c. 70m NW-SE; c. 60m NE-SW) is visible on iMAPs (2022) as reported first by Jean Charles Caillére. This enclosure is also visible on Map Genie (2005-2012, 2013-18) where it is defined by widely spread banks (Wth c. 10-15m). The church site (WX018-029001-) is c. 130m to the WNW and the holy welll (WX018-029002-) is c. 140m to the WNW.

The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wexford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1996). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
