The National Monuments Service's description

A low rectangular east-facing headland flanked by gullies on either side. The natural defences seem to have been exploited by a fosse and two possible banks along the west. Not yet visited. The site lies in an area of fertile pasture with an unimproved strip along the shore. (Casey 2001)
