The National Monuments Service's description
Situated in a slight NE-SW valley. The cropmark of a large subcircular enclosure (diam. c. 80m) defined by a single slight fosse feature is visible on aerial photographs (MM (16) 10–15). It would have incorporated a field bank that is marked on the 1839 and 1924 eds of the OS 6-inch map in its perimeter SW-N.
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wexford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1996). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
