Located towards the bottom of a S-facing slope. This is the site of the parish church of Monamolin within a small triangular graveyard (max. dims. c. 90m E-W; c. 45m N-S) with the apex at the S defined by masonry walls. According to a Visitation by Thomas Ram, the Protestant bishop of Ferns, in 1615 Daniel Morfi was the curate of Mulmolinge, and the church and chancel were in repair (Hore 1900-11, vol. 6, 272). The present Church of Ireland church was built in 1824 on the site of an older church according to J. O'Donovan writing c. 1840 (O'Flanagan 1933, vol. 2, 226), of which no remains survive. There is a small standing stone (WX016-021003-) (dims. 0.6m x 0.5m; H 1m) with a trianglular profile in the S angle of the graveyard. St Moling's Well (WX021-035----), a circular drystone-walled and lintelled structure where the pattern was held on the 17th of June (ibid.) lies c. 370m to the SSW.
