The National Monuments Service's description
Situated on a slight SE-facing slope in the valley of the NE-SW River Bann with the stream c. 110m to the SE. The cropmark of a small enclosure (diam. c. 15m) is visible on aerial photographs (ASIAP, WX 100, 0-2).
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wexford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1996). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
