The National Monuments Service's description
Within the graveyard (WX015-023002-) and at the SW angle of the Romanesque church of Clone (WX015-023001-) is a cross-slab (total H 0.73m; Wth 0.48m; T 0.17m) with a Maltese cross in false relief within a circle (diam. 0.33-0.34m) with a central boss that has a small cup. This cross-slab (see KK019-026411-) and the sundial (WX014-023004-) were moved to the OPW depot at Kilkenny during 2018 while the church is being repaired.
