The National Monuments Service's description
Located on a gentle E and NE-facing slope c. 120m from a small NW-SE stream. A magnetic gradiometry survey (15R042) recorded a subcircular enclosure (WX015-003032-) just SE of St Mary’s abbey (WX015-003004-). Within the enclosure magnetic gradiometry and resistivity surveys identified a rectangular masonry structure (max. dims c. 12m NW-SE; c. 10m NE-SW) defined by masonry walls (Wth c. 1m) with a NE-SW diving wall, but no SW wall (Dowling 2015, 9).
