The National Monuments Service's description
Archaeological monitoring (98E0132) of a sewage pipe recorded a pit or a fosse terminal (Wth of top 1m; D 0.2m) that contained medieval pottery in the S side of the trench. It is c. 80m S of St. Mary's Abbey (WX015-003004-). (Ryan 1998, 2-5)
