The National Monuments Service's description
Situated on a steep W-facing slope with a N-S stream c. 125m to the W. Marked as a circular embanked enclosure (ext. diam. c. 40-45m) on 1839 ed. of the OS 6-inch map and as a small quarry (diam. c. 25-30m) on the 1924 ed. It is visible as a faint cropmark (diam. c. 30m) defined by a slight single fosse SE-W-N on aerial photographs (MM (2) 13–15). No feautre is visible at ground level in a cereal crop.
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wexford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1996). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
