The National Monuments Service's description
Situated on a N-facing slope with the headwaters of a small S-N stream c. 20m to the E. Marked as a subcircular enclosure (dims. c. 115m N-S; c. 105m E-W) with trees and a house in the interior on the 1839 and 1924 eds of the OS 6-inch map. This is a small enclosed wood, probably designed as a tree-ring.
