The National Monuments Service's description
Excavated (E3475) during 2005 by L. Mckinstry as Site 10 at Moneylawn Lower, which was one of the excavations undertaken in advance of the construction of the N11 Arklow-Gorey link-road. Situated on a slight S-facing slope with a NW-SE stream c. 10m to the W, but an ancient channel (Wth 5-7m) was immedeatly to the W of the site. Six small spreads of burnt stone were excavated, and one small pit (diam. 0.5m; D 0.26m), but no artefacts were recovered. (Mckinstry 2008; 2008a)
