The National Monuments Service's description

Situated on a slight S-facing slope. The cropmark of a bivallate circular enclosure defined by a wider inner and slighter outer fosse features (max. ext. diam. c. 55m) is visible on aerial photographs (MM (14) 5–7, 23). There is an entrance gap through the inner fosse feature at SE and the site is overlain by a NE-SW field bank NW of its centre.

The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wexford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1996). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
