The National Monuments Service's description

A rectangular cist which had two side-stones protruding from the cliff c. 1.5m below the surface was excavated in 2001 by Patrick Power and local enthusiasts. It had a clay base and was open at the top but it produced a ribbed food vessel bowl and some lithics. Any bone that would have been present would probably have been washed away. (Power 2011)
