The National Monuments Service's description

Situated on the lower NW-facing slope of Ask Hill. This site was excavated (E3532) as 11 separate sites during 2005 as part of the N11 Gorey to Arklow link, but only four produced archaeological material. Site 10 was a large oval pit (dims 3m x 1.4m; max. D 0.4m) containing charcoal and stone and associated stake-holes. (Mckinstry 2008, 395)
