The National Monuments Service's description
The parish church of Gorey (WX007-033001-) was within a rectangular graveyard (dims. c. 55m NW-SE; c. 45m NE-SW) defined by masonry walls. The tomb-chest of Archbishop Ram (WX007-033003-) is within the graveyard. Archaeological testing (05E0338) immediately to the E demonstrated that burial does not extend outside the graveyard in this direction. (Devine 2008)
