The National Monuments Service's description

Described as Kilcorkey Grave Yard on the 1839 ed. of the OS 6-inch map and as Kilcorkey Burial Ground on the 1940 ed. of the map. It is situated towards the bottom of the NE-facing slope of Ballyconran Hill. This is a subcircular, grass-covered area (dims 40m E–W; 37m N–S) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 2m; int. H 0.4-0.6m; ext. H 0.7-1.5m) with external stone cladding. There are some eighteenth- and nineteenth-century graves in the interior but there is no indication of a church.

The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wexford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1996). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
