The National Monuments Service's description
Marked as a circular enclosure (diam. c. 35m) with a NW-SE field bank overlying it towards the perimeter at SW on the 1839 ed. of the OS 6-inch map. It is situated on a rise in a slightly undulating landscape, and is known locally as the site of a 'raheen'. No feature is visible at ground level in pasture.
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wexford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1996). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
