The National Monuments Service's description

Marked 'site of Grave Yard' and depicted fainlty as a circular enclosure (diam. c. 25m) on the 1839 ed. of the OS 6-inch map, it is situated on a slight shelf overlooking the NNW-SSE Clonough River, c. 100m to the SW. The tradition of a burial ground still persists but there are no visible remains at ground level in a farm complex. St Michael's Well (WX003-030----), is located c. 220m to the S. Archaeological testing (08E0997) c. 150m to the SE produced no related material (Gregory 2011).

The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wexford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1996). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
