The National Monuments Service's description
Marked as an enclosure (diam. c. 50m) on the 1839 ed. of the OS 6-inch map, the location is cut by the N-S Dublin to Wexford rail line. Only the western third of this site survives as a D-shaped grass-covered platform (dims. c. 35m N-S; c. 10m E-W) raised c. 0.5m above the surrounding ground surface (C 35m N-S). There is no evidence of a fosse or entrance.
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wexford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1996). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
