The National Monuments Service's description
A small arrangement of mixed brushwood in the drain face (Wth 0.75m; D 0.3m). The wood occurs in a small cluster towards the SW side with two pieces lying further apart to the NE. No toolmarks are noted but one piece has been torn. The wood is in good condition and sits in moderately humified Sphagnum peat containing ericaceous remains. The site is one of a ten closely situated sites along a 12m length in this drain face, including SMR WM039-224---- 0.3m to the SW and SMR WM039-197----, 0.7m to the NE.
