The National Monuments Service's description

Five pieces of brushwood and a stake (L 3m min.; Wth 0.6m min.). Two pieces of brushwood are orientated approximately N-S but are fragmented and disturbed. The stake, on the E side of these, is set at an 80° angle. Branch-trimming and chisel points are present on some of the elements. The site sits in moderately humified Sphagnum peat with some ericaceous remains. The site is one of a small number of comparable sites in this area including SMR WM039-161---- and SMR WM039-162----, between which is a scatter of disturbed brushwood.
