The National Monuments Service's description
A dense but irregular collection of light brushwood in the drain face (Wth 0.26m; D 0.2m). Woodworking is noted on a single piece. The wood is in poor condition and sits in poorly humified Sphagnum peat containing Eriophorum. The site is one of a number of sites within a 24m length in this drain, including SMR WM039-075---- 1.2m to the NE and SMR WM039-073---- 32.7m to the SW.
