The National Monuments Service's description

A spread of five pieces of brushwood (diam. 0.015-0.045m) on the field surfaces (L 2.6m; Wth 2.35m). The pieces are orientated N-S and where not machine-damaged, the wood is in good condition. Metal-cut toolmarks were noted on one piece. The wood is set in poorly humified Sphagnum peat.
