The National Monuments Service's description
Situated in undulating pasture. Depicted on the 1837 ed. OS 6-inch map as a substantial roughly circular-shaped enclosure intersected at S and W by field boundaries. Not depicted as an antiquity on the 1910 ed. OS 25-inch map but shown as a subcircular-shaped scrub-covered enclosure (dims. 38m N-S; 39m E-W). Outline of levelled monument barely visible today on Digital Globe aerial photography.
Compiled by Alison McQueen, Vera Rahilly and Caimin O’Brien.
