The National Monuments Service's description
Situated on a small rise, in pasture, with good views in all directions. Depicted on the revised 1910 ed. OS 25-inch map as a roughly circular-shaped earthwork. Monument described as a roughly circular-shaped area (dims. 25.5m N-S; 22.5m E-W) enclosed by a very low bank mainly reduced to a scarp with shallow external fosse only visible from SW-W-NW-N-NE. There is a causewayed entrance (approx. Wth 4m) at NE. The interior is level and there are no features visible. Monument is visible today as a roughly circular-shaped tree-planted earthwork on Digital Globe aerial photography.
