The National Monuments Service's description
Situated on a low rise, in pasture, with good views to S and W. Depicted on the revised 1910 ed. OS 25-inch map as a subrectangular-shaped earthwork. Monument described in 1983 as a roughly circular-shaped area (diam. 34m) enclosed by a bank and external fosse. The earth and stone bank is wide and low and is best preserved from W-N-E. The interior has a S-facing slope. Monument is visible today as a roughly rectangular-shaped earthwork on Digital Globe aerial photography.
