The National Monuments Service's description
Situated at S end of N-S ridge running parallel to the modern road, with good views in all directions. Ringfort (WM036-036----) 400m to NW, bullaun stone (WM036-038---) 280m to NNE and second ringfort (WM036-040----) 340m to E. Present remains consists of a small circular area (diam. 19m NE-SW) defined by low upright boulders which formed the footings of an earth and stone bank (Wth 0.8m; H 0.3m). The external and internal stone facing or revetment of the enclosing feature is well preserved and is formed by low upright stones set into the ground. No evidence of an external fosse or entrance feature. The interior of the ringfort rises towards the centre following the natural contour of the ridge on which it is located.
