The National Monuments Service's description
Situated on a rise, in pasture, with good views to S. Depicted on the OS Fair Plan map as a small rectangular-shaped tree-planted enclosure. Shown on the revised 1910 ed. OS 25-inch map as a suboval-shaped earthwork which is truncated across the N sector by a field boundary running E-W. Monument described as a roughly circular-shaped area (diam. 30m) enclosed by a low broad bank which is almost completely levelled. There is a shallow fosse from SSE-S-SSW. The interior rises slightly from the perimeter towards the centre. Levelled monument is visible today as a roughly circular-shaped cropmark on Digital Globe aerial photography.
