The National Monuments Service's description
Present remains consist of a small sub-rectangular shaped area enclosed by a low rounded earth and stone bank with a shallow external fosse. The enclosure which is depicted on all editions of the OS 6-inch maps as a small rectangular field or paddock appears to be of 18th or 19th century date. Possibly the remains of a sheepfold of post 1700 date.
