The National Monuments Service's description

Situated on a low rise on a prominent ridge in good pasture with extensive views in all directions. Site consists of a roughly circular area (diam. 31m N-S; 31m E-W) defined by an earth and stone bank with traces of an external fosse visible only from SW-W-NNW. The remains of an external bank are visible from SW-W-NW only. It is not clear whether this external bank is an original feature or a later addition to the ringfort. Field clearance debris has been dumped along the outer bank and in the fosse from W-NNW. A concrete yard, shed and silage pit have been constructed just outside the bank from SSE-S-SSW. There are large gaps in the bank at SSW and NNW. The SSW gap appears to be modern and associated with the adjoining concrete yard. A modern post and wire fence has been erected along the top of the bank and a water trough has been erected at SSE. There are a number of stones visible in the surface of some of which (to the E of centre) seem to represent the remains of an old N-S wall possibly the remains of an old field wall. The entire site is heavily overgrown with hazel trees and thorn bushes.
