The National Monuments Service's description

Graveyard (WM032-004001-) surveyed by ASI in 1980 and described as 'a roughly oval area bounded from SW-S by remains of a bank of earth and some stones and from S-E-NE by a low bank set on a scarp. From NE-N-NNW the boundary consists of a low broken down scarp and from NE-W-WSW a low earthen bank. There is a fosse outside the bank from NE-E-S-W-NW. The interior of the site rises unevenly towards the centre. The interior is divided into a number of irregular enclosures by the remains of low banks of stones and earth. A field bank and fosse cut through the western part of the interior in a NE-SW direction. The small portion of the enclosure to the west of the field fence has been almost completely levelled and is now erased by old cultivation ridges. To the east of the field fence is a rectangular depression with remains of a stone boundary around its edge. This is aligned NE-SW and measures approx. 6m by 4m and probably represents the remains of a building. There are very slight traces of a larger rectangular structure [possible church] (WM032-004----) near the centre of the enclosure however this is now poorly defined and it is difficult to be certain about it. This earthwork is in low lying rushy ground overlooked by a slight rise to the south' (SMR File 17/04/1980).
