The National Monuments Service's description

Situated on a small rise, in pasture, with extensive views to S, overlooked by higher ground to N. Ringfort (WM031-076----) lies c. 120m to W. Monument described in 1977 as an oval-shaped area (dims. 57m NW-SE; 53m NE-SW) enclosed by an earthen bank which is reduced to a scarp in places. A low earthen bank is visible from S-SW-W-NW which is best preserved from SW-W. The bank is reduced to a scarp from NW-N-NW-E-SE-S which has a modern field fence built against it. A public road has clipped the outer edge of the scarp from E-ESE-SE. There is a farm house and yard just outside the monument at NNE and a drystone outbuilding has been built against the edge of the bank at NNW. The bank is disturbed by livestock gaps but there is no indication of an original entrance. The interior has a SE-facing slope and the surface is uneven due to disturbance. An electricity pole has been erected in the N quadrant and there is a small rectangular rock outcrop adjacent to NW of it. There is a large depression in the E quadrant and some irregular undulations in the S quadrant. Monument is visible today as a roughly circular-shaped tree-lined earthwork on Digital Globe aerial photography.
