The National Monuments Service's description

Situated on a high ridge, in pasture, with commanding views of the surrounding landscape. Ringfort (WM031-031----) lies c. 140m to WSW. Dnnotated 'Fort' on the OS Fair Plan map and depicted s a circular-shaped earthwork. Depicted on the revised 1910 ed. OS 25-inch map as a roughly oval-shaped earthwork. Monument described in 1973 as a roughly circular-shaped area (diam. 27m) enclosed by a low bank from SSW-W-NW, reduced to a scarp from NW-E-SSE. The bank has been disturbed from SSE-S-SSW. There is no trace of an external fosse. The interior is relatively level with a depression near the centre and is strewn with loose stone. Monument is visible today as a roughly oval-shaped tree-planted earthwork on Digital Globe aerial photography.
