The National Monuments Service's description

Situated in gently undulating pasture. Annotated 'Fort' on the 1837 OS Fair Plan map and and depicted as a D-shaped enclosure with the straight side to SW. Depicted on the revised 1910 ed. OS 25-inch map as a semicircular-shaped earthwork modified by linear field boundaries to S and W. M Levelled monument described in 1973 as no surface remains visible. Monument is visible today as a faint semicircular-shaped cropmark on Digital Globe aerial photography.
