The National Monuments Service's description

In 1612 Robert Dillon of Cannorstown was granted 'a castle (WM029-045----), 20 houses, a mill and 1 plowland' (Cal. pat. rolls Ire., Jas I, 228) in the townland of 'Moydrom'. The precise location of this medieval mill site within the townland of Moydrum has not been identified.
