The National Monuments Service's description

Situated on SE-facing slope on a slight rise, in gently undulating pasture. Ringfort (WM026-014----) lies c. 70m to SW. Depicted on the 1837 ed. OS 6-inch map as a tree-planted earthwork. Levelled monument described in 1971 as a roughly circular-shaped area (dims. 33.3m E-W; 32.2m N-S) enclosed by a bank and external fosse. The tree-lined bank is substantial and very steep on the exterior, having a wire fence along its upper edge. There is a gap (original Wth at top 5.8m; basal Wth 2m) at SE which has been narrowed in modern times by a short bank. There is a wide shallow external fosse with no trace of a causeway. The interior has a gentle SE-facing slope and has a slight, irregular-shaped depression towards the centre which is of unknown significance. Modern fences intersect the monument at E and W.
