The National Monuments Service's description

Situated on a prominent rise, in gently undulating and hilly pasture, with views restricted by surrounding land. Ringfort (WM026-014----) lies c. 70m to SW. Annotated ‘fort’ on the 1837 OS Fair Plan map where it is depicted as a circular-shaped earthwork defined by a scarp and . Levelled monument described in 1971 as an oval-shaped area (dims. 40.5m NE-SW; 37.5m NW-SE) defined by a very slight scarp (max. H 1m) with no visible trace of a fosse and the original entrance is not recognisable. The interior falls gently towards the perimeter at NW and SE and there are vague traces of cultivation ridges running NE-SW. This monument was probably a ringfort.
